Kick-off meeting (November 2025)
The CROSS-ACCESS project was officially launched with a kick-off meeting, during which the main objectives, outputs and collaborative structure were defined, including Working Papers, toolkits and capacity-building activities.
Working Meeting – Göttingen (February 2026)
In February 2026, a working meeting of the CROSS-ACCESS project took place at the University of Göttingen.
The meeting focused on:
- conceptual alignment and shared definitions
- refinement of thematic focus of the Working Papers
- establishment of the methodological framework (scoping review)
- strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration
The discussion highlighted the need for:
- clearly defined categories of migrants
- coordination across legal, healthcare and educational systems
- addressing language barriers as a systemic issue
Ongoing Activities (2026)
The project is currently in its research and output development phase, including:
- preparation of 4 Working Papers
- implementation of scoping reviews
- development of a shared reference database
- preparation of stakeholder engagement
