When writing theses, please follow the Internal Regulation No. 2/2024 Directive of the Rector of Comenius University in Bratislava on the use of artificial intelligence tools at Comenius University in Bratislava, including Appendix No. 1 Recommended ways of citing outputs or using generative artificial intelligence at Comenius University in Bratislava.

For general information on thesis writing, methods of citation and paraphrasing, the inclusion of bibliographical references, and the overall formal outline of the thesis and its essential elements, please refer to the Manual for the Preparation of Bachelor's and Master's Theses.

The submission of final theses at PdF UK is governed by Internal Regulation No. 32/2023 Directive of the Rector of Comenius University in Bratislava on the basic requirements of final theses, rigorous theses and habilitation theses, control of their originality, storage and access to them at Comenius University in Bratislava.

Students have a Picture Manual demonstrating the detailed procedure of thesis administration in AiS2. We also draw your attention to the information available at www.moja.uniba.sk, in the AIS - final theses section.

General information on the submission of final theses at the Faculty of Education of Comenius University in Bratislava can be found on the website of the Faculty of Education of Comenius University in Bratislava.

Instructions for applying are as follows:

Step 1: You must have all course grades entered in AIS2 prior to submitting your application to the SE.

Step 2: Once you have all the assessments in AiS2, download the State Exam Application Form from the Faculty website (Forms). For each of your majors, you will list the courses as they are listed in the yearbook on the web. Registration for the thesis defense is contingent upon submission of the thesis by the deadline set by the current AY Schedule.

Step 3: Mail the completed application forms to your Registrar in the Office of Academic Affairs by the deadline set by the current AY Schedule. The clerk will enter your courses into AIS2.

The department will not assign students to a specific state exam date until after the state exam registration deadline.
