International mobilities
Study exchange programmes
Exchange study stays of CU students at foreign universities take place within the framework of the European Union's Erasmus+ programme. Under the Erasmus+ programme, a student can undertake a study stay abroad for a minimum of 2 months but a maximum of 12 months for each level of study (Bachelor's, Master's, etc.). Student mobility is organised on the basis of inter-institutional agreements concluded at departmental, faculty or university level. A student may apply for mobility only to those foreign universities with which an inter-institutional agreement is in place at the time of the selection procedure.
Each year the Department for Erasmus+ launches a call for applications for student mobility. A student shall apply for mobility only during the period when the call is open. The selection procedures take place at the individual faculties of the University.

Graduate internships
Students have the opportunity to participate in mobility abroad after graduation. The graduate traineeships, funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme, are organised by the CU in cooperation with the WorkSpace Europe consortium. Graduate traineeships are available in all European Union countries as well as in other participating countries (Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Turkey).
Students in the final year of their Bachelor's, Master's and PhD. studies can apply for a graduate traineeship within the deadline set for this purpose. Dates and conditions of selection procedures are determined by individual faculties of Comenius University Bratislava.
The minimum duration of the traineeship is 2 months. The traineeship can be taken after the state examinations and must be completed within 12 months of graduation.

When choosing a graduate placement, unlike exchange student placements, the student is not limited by the bilateral agreements of the university departments. The student chooses the institution where he/she wants to be a trainee. The traineeship should be related to the student's field of study and have an adequate workload.
