The topics of diploma theses for the academic year 2023-24, which are written out by individual instructors at the Department of Speech and Language Therapy, will be found by students of the fourth year of Speech and Language Therapy soon in the file "Diploma theses in the academic year 2023-24". After choosing a topic, students can contact the relevant trainer and get more information.
Theses for exams in Speech and Language therapy
Information for first-year students
Tutor:
- according to the recommended study path of the accredited study program, Speech and Language Therapy provides counseling to students in compiling their study plan.
- explains to students the principles of credit studies, helps them understand the study schedule, the AIS2 system, etc.
- acquaints male and female students with the rules of functioning of the academic world.
The role of tutors is defined in more detail in the Dean's Directive of PdF UK. The tutor has one hour of consultation hours per week reserved for study counseling. Students of speech and language therapy can contact Dr. Dana Buntová, PhD.

The date of the selection procedure for speech and language therapy students for Erasmus for the relevant academic year will be announced in time.

Detailed admission criteria for the combined bachelor's and master's studies in speech and language therapy
The admission procedure will consist of:
- a talent test focused on communication skills (level of articulation, fluency of speech, voice quality, motility of articulatory organs, promptness in expression). The basic prerequisites for practicing the profession of a speech therapist will be assessed by a committee of experts in individual fields.
- written exam:
- in biology in the scope of the curriculum for gymnasiums with a focus primarily on human biology
- general awareness test
- tests of language sensitivity (dictation, word and sentence analysis, sentence completion, verbal test)
- translation from English
Literature: Biology for high schools, NOS (Society Science) for grammar schools. Bring with you a list of the literature you have read, relating to the chosen study program, which you will present to the examination board. Note: Applicants for the Speech and Language Therapy study program will be invited to the written entrance exam only on the basis of successful completion of the talent entrance exams.
