Projects and research profile

In the area of research the Department focuses mainly on education of Romance languages, particularly French, Spanish and Italian, on linguistics and applied linguistics as well as on literature and cultures. Within the different disciplines particular attention is given to the following fields of research and specialisation:

- comparative education

- methodology of teaching Romance languages

- Romance languages mutual intelligibility

- foreign languages and cultures
