International students
All international students will therefore have to book an appointment at the relevant Foreigners’ Police Department exclusively via the booking system. The University Welcome Centre remains the first point of contact for international students and will continue to provide advice on preparing the necessary documents, as well as assistance with booking an appointment at the Foreigners’ Police.
Students from third countries have to book an appointment with the Foreigners’ Police well in advance and attend their appointment on the scheduled date. Please note that it is essential to cancel an appointment in good time if a student is unable to attend the agreed appointment (at least 12 hours before the appointment). This will prevent unused appointments from being blocked and ensure they remain available to other applicants. If an applicant fails to attend a booked appointment without cancelling it, the booking system will restrict their ability to make a new booking for a certain period (currently 60 days).
