Diana Židová
About me
I have been working as an assistant professor at the Department of English Language, Literature and Didactics, Faculty of Education of the Comenius University Bratislava since 2024.
I graduated as a teacher of the academic subjects Slovak language and literature and English language and literature at CPU in Nitra,
where I subsequently continued my third degree studies in the study program English studies.
I defended my dissertation on the literature of American Slovaks in 2014.
Since then, I have been teaching subjects and doing research on Anglophone literature and culture.
I am particularly interested in contemporary literature in which authors stimulate readers to reevaluate their beliefs and opinions,
e.g. in picture books for children and young adults.
